Soaking Of Seeds & Nuts helps break down phytic acid, which is found in the coatings of nuts, which is an anti-nutrient, responsible for leeching vital nutrients from your body. It is strongly recommended to soak nuts for at least 6 to 7 hours before eating them. This will help to get rid of the phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors, which can interfere with the function of your own digestive and metabolic enzymes, in the nuts, to make them more palatable and also to improve the texture.


HOW TO CONSUME SEEDS & NUTS


▪Evening snack, dry and wet Chutneys, In Salads/as dressings, you can also add one tsp of one type of seed/nuts for one glass of smoothie while grinding.


▪️You can have them raw, roasted, or soaked. Soaking and roasting increase its nutritional value. However, It is recommended to consume roasted seeds/nuts within two weeks, stored in an airtight container.


▪️Roasting enhances taste a flavour greatly, however, Do not store roasted seeds for a long duration as they undergo peroxidation very quickly thereby losing some of their nutritive value and becomes rancid.
