Beetroot Smoothie - Pre Workout Drink

Ingredients

Half medium beetroot

Quarter cucumber

One Apple

6 mint leaves

1/2 TSP ginger 

2 cups Water

Pinch of Rock salt

Pinch of black salt

Dash of Lemon Juice

Preparation

  • Medium chop all the ingredients so that they blend well in the mixie.

  • Add all ingredients and grind without water for 30 seconds to blitz the ingredients into smaller pieces.

  • Add half a cup water and blend for 30 seconds. Add another half cup water and blend for 1 minute till it is a smooth paste.

  • Add the remaining 1 cup water to adjust consistency and blend for another 30 seconds.

  • Season with Rock salt, Black salt and a dash of lemon juice

  • Consume at least 2hrs before your workout or as a morning/evening healthy drink.
