About the Recipe
A good vegetable smoothie is the tastiest way to consume all vegetables that are good for diabetes in a manner that is sustainable. This well balanced recipe will make your healthy journey enjoyable which can be shared with all members of the family. Start by half half a glass to get your body used to the goodness. Can be had for breakfast or as an evening snack.

Ingredients
1.5 cup of Mild Greens chopped (any one) Spinach, Radish leaves, Lettuce
10-20 leaves of Flavourful greens (any one) Mint, Curry leaves, Betel leaves, coriander leaves
half cup A Fruit (any one) Apple, Pear
quater cup A Vegetable (any one) Cucumber, Bottle Gourd (doodhi)
1/8 tsp Turmeric powder
1/8 tsp Black pepper powder
1/8 tsp Cinnamon powder
pinch of Rock Salt
250ml Water
half Lime juice or half Amla
1 tsp Jaggery/Honey (for non diabetic version)
Preparation
Put all ingredients in blender with half cup water and blend for 2 minutes taking a break every 30 sec to reduce heat generated.
Blend it into a smooth paste and add remaining water to adjust consistency.
Best had on an empty stomach without straining. Can add aditional sweetner for non-diabetic memebers of the family.
Consume within 30 minutes for best taste
